David Mattocks preached his first sermon at twelve years of age, beginning a ministry that has now spanned more than six decades. He is a 1981 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and formerly served as an administrator and seminar instructor for Logos Bible College and Graduate School. During his time with Logos, he helped establish more than fifty extension campuses across the United States.
Throughout his ministry, David has pioneered five churches. In 2018, he founded Light of Yeshua Fellowship, a local and Internet fellowship through which he continues to teach God’s Word from a Hebraic perspective. His writing and teaching help believers understand their identity, purpose, and authority in Yeshua HaMashiach—Jesus Christ—and apply the truths of Scripture to everyday life.
David and his wife, Margi, reside in Port Huron, Michigan. Together they are blessed with a large, multigenerational family extending to great-great-great-grandchildren.
