Mike Mongo

Astronaut teacher Mike Mongo is author of The Astronaut Instruction Manual and host of Mike Mongo's Astronaut Adventures. As a mentor for space STEAM–Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics–Mike encourages today's students around the world to pursue careers in tomorrow's job in Space.

His book, The Astronaut Instruction Manual, has been optioned for television by Alcon Entertainment.

Mike is the Official Ambassador of Johnny Appleseed in Space project to send apple seeds from original Johnny Appleseed apple trees to Space.

Additionally, Mike is co-founder of OBEY, and creator of the Space is for Everybody and BUILD A STARSHIP initiatives. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
