Mike DeWald

I was born at University Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan. I believe my blood runs maize and blue. I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan in Norton Shores, Michigan. I enjoy water skiing, sailing and golf. I attended college in Owosso, Michigan where I met my wonderful wife Sally. Together we have three children and five granddaughters. We now reside in Northern Indiana where we raised our children and spend many days with our playful granddaughters. The time spent with our granddaughters has been the inspiration for all "Bumpa and the Piggies" stories. We enjoy travel, early American history, good food and just about anyone who loves good conversation and children. We try different ways to cook barbecue pork and ribs and welcome great tasting recipes.
