Stefania Del Monte

Stefania Del Monte was born in Fumone, Italy, in 1968.

Journalist and writer, she is a communication expert and author of publications in Italian, English and Spanish. For many years she has actively promoted Italy around the world through a dense network of international relations.

She holds a Masters Degree by Research in Italian Studies from the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the Royal Holloway University of London and a BA Honors Degree in Communications and Political Sciences from La Tuscia University.

She was board member of the Italian Women Association of Hong Kong, co-founder and head of communication for the Italian British Association, co-founder and director of Ciao Praga and global Head of Public Relations for A.I.M. - Association for Italy in the World.

She has also worked for the University of Cambridge, the United Nations Development Programme, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank and other international organisations.

She is currently Director of Ciao Magazine and Ciao Publishing, a communication and publishing company based in Cambridge (UK).

She loves travelling and is a versatile reader (from romance to politics, from poetry to cultural studies) with a great passion for history.
