Hello!

From as far back in my life as I can recall, I've been subjected to manipulation by family, friends, lovers, organizations, the media, etc., etc., etc.: it's what people do to each other, and it's the canvas on which I've chosen to create and portray some ordinary folk and their interactions, appearing as they do in a trilogy of short novels, The Manipulatrix, The Dominatrix and The Executrix (that last one currently - January 2016 - being prepared for uploading to Amazon).

My choice of palette is a sexual one, since I find that to be a rich source of pain, pleasure and humour (a necessary element) and one to which we all can relate, from a rich variety of perspectives. I cannot escape the fact that my writing is coloured by my earliest childhood experiences of punishment for misbehaviour, as those causing my tribulation would have it, perhaps on occasion with some justification, if I'm to be honest.

In these novels, I've attempted to cover the wide spectrum of manipulation from light-hearted persuasion through to gross coercion and the consequent emotional highs and lows. None of the characters is a super-hero (or -heroine): they could be your next-door neighbours! I have avoided descriptive details of age, ethnicity and appearance, leaving that to your imagination. The action takes place somewhere in England, close to a large city; that's all you need to know.
