Jeff Gulvin

I had my first novel published in 1996 and since then I've written a variety of crime thrillers as well as other genres. In all there are 15 out there. I hope you enjoy them. Every now and then there's a hiatus, largely due to the fact I might go off at a tangent, but I keep coming back. The first three books were hard-boiled London based, followed by three Clancy-esque titles. I then branched into another genre altogether with Cry of the Panther and Song of the Sound, before writing a few books solely for the Dutch. God bless Amsterdam, that place kept me going when nobody else would.

I'll always be grateful to Faber & Faber for two hardbacks for the US market under JM Gulvin, with the best covers I've ever had. They allowed me to get a two-gun toting old school cowboy hero out of my system. That was me harking back to my youth and I'll have those books burned in my coffin with me.

Right now I have four fresh manuscripts on the slate so we'll see what happens with those in the hands of my agent, friend and confidant Ben Camardi of New Jersey.
