J. D. Begley

J. D. Begley was born and raised in Southern California, USA. He became an avid reader at an early age, consuming such heavy works of fiction such as The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley and Frank Herbert's Dune at the age of 12. As he got older, he continued to read and he discovered pen-and-paper role-playing games, most notably Dungeons and Dragons. Soon he found himself in the role of the dungeon master, narrating adventures for his friends. He had essentially become a storyteller of sorts. Always a daydreamer, weaving stories in his own mind, J. D. vowed he would one day become a novelist. Fate would demand that he travel a long road and experience much of life until a Muse whispered in his ear: 'Now is the time.' And so it was.
