Friends call me Chris. I live on a mini-farm in northeast Ohio with my husband Joe and our horses, dogs, and cat.
My passion for writing began in grade school when I wrote story after story in a notebook which I hid in my underwear drawer--for what reason, I do not know. I have also kept journals for as long as I can remember. Whenever I write, there are no boundaries in terms of expectations or creativity.
Both professionally and personally, my work has been dedicated to building sustainable relationships. My career as an author is a natural evolution of thought and practice from the practicality of business to the inner workings of the heart.
I have always been more comfortable writing in a conversational manner about ordinary, less-theoretical human experiences where I feel a closer connection to the reader. My most joyful writing experiences are about relationships and communication. That's why I was so passionate about writing The Listening Project, which focused on relationships and communication with God, humans, animals, and nature.
