Susan is a born and bred "Jersey Girl" who spent many summers as a young girl in flip-flops, riding bikes and scooping ice cream down at the Jersey Shore. Born and raised in Kenilworth NJ, she lived there for the first 45 years of her life before moving to the seaside resort town of Lavallette NJ, where she lives with her husband Jay and Goldendoodle Sasha. With degrees in Mass Communications and Public Media, she’s reinvented herself a few times, and is currently teaching students to love reading and writing.

In an attempt to get Middle School students to read for pleasure, she was challenged by her students to "write a book , and then we'll read it." Her first book, the Amazon best-seller “CASEY OF CRANBERRY COVE", is a result of that challenge. Using her hometown as the setting under a fictional name, her characters live the life that every teen dreams of in a beachside resort town filled with cute lifeguards, sailboats, ice cream, boogie boards and that always scary first kiss.

Now Susan can't define herself without having "author" in the description. Writing “Casey” has awakened the demons, and the many stories and characters that were floating around in her head are beginning to force their way out, and are finding their way onto the written page.

HIGH FLIER, the sequel/standalone to the first Cranberry Cove book, was released in the summer of 2016. Perfect for Middle School/Early High School readers, the story follows the main character as she tries to navigate her first year of high school.

Susan is working on releases for more mature audiences, which will appeal to readers of romance. Stay tuned!
