David F. Kramer

David F. Kramer has spent more than 20 years writing and editing horror fiction, non-fiction, and comic books, as well as writing on dark topics such as the occult, extreme religious rituals and obscene music and art of all persuasions. He has also enjoyed a long career as a newspaper reporter editor and publisher, but the dark side of things keep sucking him back into the vortex.

He received the Bram Stoker Award for non-fiction in 2007 for his first book, The Cryptopedia: A Dictionary of the Weird, Strange and Downright Bizarre (Citadel) co-written with Jonathan Maberry. He followed that up with They Bite: Endless Cravings of Supernatural Predators (Citadel, 2009) also with Maberry. He has a love of the dark, and all things wet and rubbery.
