This is Greg Gilbert. I refuse to write in third person. My audience and readers are smart enough to know this is written by me.

If it pertains to Human Resources, leadership, management, supervision or life, I've been there, done that, journaled it, heard the grievance and I'm now teaching and writing about it.

I have been able to utilize, witness and share the unbeatable benefit of Education, Engagement, Accountability and the Leader/Owner Mindset. I have witnessed their benefit as a telephone repairman, Supervisor, Area Manager, Husband of over 39 years (to the same wife), Dad, Papaw, farm kid and as the primary HR contact for over 2000 team members. I began journaling "what worked" and "what failed" in 1978.

My Human Resources career and farm upbringing were the most educational periods of my life. Both have led to content that has been shared with thousands of attendees. The experiences are now also shared through my books.

I am a firm believer in presentations and books with both content and humor. I sometimes utilize "Mr. HR With A Guitar" as a unique method of sharing these lessons and adding humor. Thousands across the country have been introduced to "The Power Of Better" Movement and "Leading Like You Own It." I have discovered the frustrations and challenges of Leadership and Life are only eliminated through increased Education, Engagement and Accountability. There is no other way.
