Jeremiah Lee Olson

Jeremiah Lee Olson (1977-present) was born in a small town moved to a bigger town and then settled in a medium sized town. He was raised Lutheran, wanted to be Buddhist, and could be called a Catholic Buddhist now. He has always been a writer but never really got his ADD under control enough to finish a book. With four books half written and saved on floppy disks stored somewhere in his basement, he changed his focus and began writing from a simpler perspective. A trip to China in 2001 changed his life forever by exposing him to Buddhism and Eastern Philosophy. After having children his life, again, changed forever. When reading his children books before nap and bed time, he wondered about Buddhist books for kids. He found a few great ones but not enough. This sparked his interest in writing again and thus the A Boy Named Zen series of books was born.
