Amy Rose Taylor

Amy Rose Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing’s Entry to Practice Program. While at Columbia, she was selected as a Josiah Macy Interprofessional Scholar in Narrative Medicine as well as a Rudin Oncology Scholar. She volunteered as a research assistant for Dr. Mary O. Mundinger on several projects while earning her bachelor’s degree, and some of her work has since been published in peer-reviewed journals.

As a bachelor’s degree student, Amy Rose’s clinical sites included New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus (OB/GYN), Mount Sinai Hospital (RICU), Nyack Hospital (Addiction/Recovery), Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York (Cardiology), and Metropolitan Hospital (ED). She regularly assists prospective students with their applications to nursing programs throughout the New York area, as well as providing assistance and guidance as they earn their degree. Amy Rose currently works as a registered nurse at Nyack Hospital in Rockland County, NY, while simultaneously earning her MSN as a nurse practitioner from Columbia. Interested in health policy and advocacy as well as nursing, she worked as the Health Policy Fellow for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Washington, D.C.

Amy Rose lives in Rockland County, NY, with her four wonderful children, three dogs, three cats, and her supportive boyfriend, Joe.
