Gerrit Hansen

A native of Washington state, Gerrit Hansen worked with young people in education, sports, and business for twenty-six years in Indonesia (1986-2012). During that time, he also traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. He returned to the Seattle area of the United States with his family in 2012, where he is preparing to launch his first full-length novel, a historical fantasy that compiles several Indonesian myths and legends centered around West Java. He enjoys writing for all levels, from children's picture books and YA to general audience (adult) fiction and non-fiction.
