My historical novels explore themes of love, betrayal, endurance, and the psychological cost of war, blending emotional truth with historical detail.

One of my novels revisits the Portuguese maritime discoveries of the 16th century, a period that has long fascinated me for its courage, ambition, and lasting influence on world history.

I have created a fictional man placed carefully inside real history. Every voyage he sails, every battle he survives, every ruler he serves or defies existed. Vasco da Gama, Pedro Álvares Cabral, Francisco de Almeida, Afonso de Albuquerque, these men shaped the Portuguese empire.

Another one of my novels follows a young Portuguese man who worked as a waiter, and whose life is shaped by love found and lost in the Algarve, Portugal, followed by years of combat in Africa as a member of the elite Portuguese Parachute Regiment, and later service in the French Foreign Legion.

Like his protagonist, the author once worked as a waiter in the Algarve, before becoming a paratrooper in the Portuguese Parachute Regiment. His fiction is grounded in lived experience, careful research, and a deep respect for memory and history.
