Adrienne M. Clark (1984-) was born in Ontario, Canada. She writes primarily for writers. She feels writing is an important self therapy technique. She understands that everybody has issues, whether they can admit it or not, and to you...your issues are the most important. No matter how big or small, they matter to you. Her most popular book to date is '365 First Line Writing Prompts'. It's a fun writing prompt improv exercise. Her personal favorite is 'Improv Yourself'. A fun exercise she came up with in the middle of the night while plagued with insomnia. While pregnant with her youngest child she came up with 'Write Through Your Pregnancy' to help her cope with the initial shock of finding out her daughter was going to be born with only one hand.
The large selection of sketchbook journals were inspired by her need to make notes or doodles in the margins while writing. When she drew a picture it took away from it if the lines ran through it.
She also writes under pen names to avoid confusion for some of her other types of writing. Adrienne Berry (her husband and children's last name) is her pen name for children's stories/poetry that is written for her three daughters, eventually they will end up on here for others to enjoy. Her romance/erotica stories have yet to be given a pen name.
Her latest series is called Altered Image Writing Prompts. It is a fun writing exercise/prompt in the form of an image to inspire writing. It is a way to inspire writing for others and use her playful image editing skills to encourage people to think outside of the box. Her current favorite in the series is Volume 6 which is all images she took herself in her own neck of the woods in Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada.
