Felicity Thomlinson encourages families to actively create happy habits, healthy hearts and calm minds in the home.

The books she has created so far are practical guides that contain easy to use tips and tools that can be read together as a family.

"I Am Amazing" is the first in the Dear Charlie Activity Book Collection, which is a very easy to read ABC book, filled with positive words and gives parents a great reason to stop and connect with their children in a positive and meaningful way.

"I Am Happy" is the next book, just released. This is a comprehensive guide with fun activities which are very easy to implement into daily routines.

After recently having her third child, she wanted to write to him, so The Dear Charlie Activity Book Series was born. The books are a way of letting him know of all the things he will learn over the coming years, the important things, the aspects that will help him to create his own happy heart and mind. The books are crafted with simple designs and easy to use techniques.

Since having her first child over 8 years ago, Felicity has done a lot of her own reading and research into what creates a happy family and a content child. She has implemented many techniques within her own family and seen significant improvements in the behavior of the children and their general happiness, well being, communication and collaboration as a family.

After writing the books initially for her own family, she was keen to share the techniques and the knowledge with other families, ensuring the techniques, charts, tips and tools were easy to use and quick to implement.

Born in 1974, Felicity grew up on a sheep farm in country Victoria, Australia, before attending boarding school in Ballarat, then moving to Melbourne for University.

Almost 20 years ago, she met her husband Murray - it truly was love at first sight - and they continue to grow as a couple and a family, always striving for better ways to balance their busy lives. Things are not always perfect, but they are always open to change and central to everything they do is ensuring they nurture both the heart and mind of themselves, each other and their children.

Aside from writing and designing the books and spending as much time with family as possible, Felicity also shares her time between her position as a Director on her local Community Bank Branch Board, Chair of the Community Engagement Committee, holds a corporate role and tries to fit in as much travel as possible!

One of her biggest loves is to travel. As a couple and family, they have traveled extensively around the world, always looking for new opportunities to gain perspective, challenge their thinking and spend quality time together.
