Schubert Moore has a pretty conventional family, meaning frightening. He’s been a teacher in middle school, a college teacher, a manager of college recruiting for a Fortune 500 company, a published poet, short story writer, journalist, stand-up comedian, weekly humor columnist for a newspaper and novelist.
He has launched a 3000-pound dory boat through the surf of the Pacific Ocean, rock climbed, ski raced, back packed, designed his own house with a theater kitchen and held cooking classes in it.
He has written two novels, PACIFIC CITY, about a runaway girl and THE HOOKERS BALL, Oedipus Rex meets the Manchurian Candidate. TESTOSTERONE, TURKEYS AND DOLLY: Observations from a Small Town Columnist is a collection of 104 weekly newspaper columns. He’ll have out two more novels, a children’s book and another collection of columns sometime in 2015.
His books are available at schubertmoore.com, or at Amazon.
