D. P. Johnson

Derek (D. P.) Johnson is an author and international educator specializing in spiritual and worldview formation. He wrote Truth Weaving (an ACSI certification text) and other books that help readers pursue a deeper, more integrated life of faith. His work blends philosophical exploration with personal formation, inviting readers into a thoughtful engagement with the world.

Derek has taught for more than twenty-six years in Korea, Türkiye, China, and Malaysia. A confirmed PhD candidate with the Australian University of Theology, his research examines worldview formation in international schools. He completed undergraduate studies in Bible, science, and education at Cedarville University and earned graduate degrees in religious education and interdisciplinary studies at Cornerstone University.

He writes from a long fascination with the ancient church and a passion for seeking truth, mystery, beauty and wonder.
