Joe E. Lawrence

Joe Lawrence was brought up in London's East End. At 14 his Mum got him a Saturday job in a local butchers shop. It was to change his life forever. His first book, The East End Butcher Boy, tells the story of his young life being shaped by various dodgy dealings. Joe still lives in the area and after 30 years finds himself back in the trade he loves. Currently working on two other novels, Joe is busy following his second passion, writing.

In 2019 Joe published his second book. Eastendbutchers Short Story Collection, 25 Stories that will have you smiling, laughing and a few might even make you cry.

Then in 2020, Joe published his second novel. The Men In The Shadows. A gripping fast-paced thriller. Set in London's East End, it's a story of blackmail and revenge that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can to see what happens next.

Now Joe is back in 2022, with a real pageturner in the form of Who Is Jack Winter? A man seemingly from nowhere, who very quickly rises to the very top. But who is he? To some he's a smooth talking wheeler dealer. To others, he's a low life scumbag but to many he's a hard nosed businessman. You might just like him, you shouldn't, but you just might...
