Frank E. Keyes Jr.

Frank E. Keyes, a combat veteran, served as an infantryman with the 2/505th Parachute Infantry Battalion, among other units. He is the former senior editor of a Northrop Grumman business unit; he has taught English both at the undergraduate and graduate level at several universities. As CEO of K&K Training, he presently teaches Effective Writing for Business and Government to students in different organizations in the United States.

When asked why he wrote Utopia U., he said, "I couldn't . . . not write it. Yes, I know, a double-negative, but a true answer. Another reason, I think, is this: I wrote it for students and their parents. They deserve better than what they're getting."
