Luke LaMarca

Luke LaMarca is the illustrator of The Curious Demise of a Contrary Cat written by Lynne Berry which received a Marion Vannett Ridgway Honor (which is given in recognition of an outstanding debut in the world of children's picture books). He also illustrated The Day Ray Got Away by Angela Johnson and most recently Squid Kid the Magnificent by Lynne Berry.

He lives in a skull shaped cave built into a volcano on a remote, tropical island full of dinosaurs (somewhere in Hudson, NY). He enjoys the company of animals, the number 11, and rubbing the back of his eyelids until he sees those pretty sparkly thingies. He has a dog and two cats.
