Matthew A. Holzman

Originally from North Royalton, Ohio, Matthew A. Holzman received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Shepherd University in West Virginia. Stemming from his education and interests, he worked as a Park Ranger at Arlington House, The Robert E. Lee Memorial, and has come out with the titles - Gettysburg: Perspectives of the Battlefield, the Town, and the Sacred Landscape That Surrounds, Shiloh: Preeminence and Preservation in Tennessee, and September Still Speaks: Antietam, A Visual Companion to Pristine and Hallowed Ground. While visiting several historic sites and battlefields, he makes the attempt to research and trace his ancestor's steps at places like Antietam, Fredericksburg, and Chancellorsville.
