Will Brooks' love of writing began in 2008 at 16 years old when he attended the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts in Creative Writing. With the help of the wonderful teachers and Discipline Assistants, he was able to cultivate his craft and enjoy the art of writing.
It wasn't until 2014 during an Intro to Creative Writing course while in college that he really began to see writing as a career option. His professor drove him to be the best writer he could be, and to craft his words with purpose. He sat down a few months later and compiled his first publication, You're Uninvited. Through the poems and short stories he wrote, he felt drawn to tell more stories. It is this drive that compels him to put pen to paper everyday.
