Peter Browne

Pieter de Bruin is Peter Browne. He is a medical doctor who practice as a specialist urologist on the east coast of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He lives with his lovely wife and their three boys and Labrador over looking the ocean in Southbroom.

Peter has always been an enthusiastic sportsman and has done most of the ultra marathons, cycling and triathlons in South Africa. Most mornings if the conditions are right he will be surfing at first light before getting ready for work. Life is tough on the east coast!

He writes his Afrikaans books under his real name, Pieter de Bruin. The first Mossie series was written to get children to read their first adventure chapter books. After that followed Die Verdwyning and also an English book for Children as a first adventure read.
