Jack Hammond Jr.

Jack Hammond Jr. is a lifelong resident of South Carolina. He holds a BA in English from Coker College and an MBA from Wingate University. He teaches high school English, and is a former head track coach and an assistant football coach, winning three consecutive state championships in football. Teaching reignited his love for literature and writing. The Last Hanging in Scots Bend was his first novel.

Never Enough Words, set during the Civil Rights era in Scots Bend, South Carolina is his second novel. The novel opens on the critical day of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Its setting is during the turmoil of the 1960s.
