I was born and raised in New York City, received a B.A. from Colorado College, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. I have always been an avid reader. After years of getting good negotiation outcomes for my clients, I decided to write a book outlining the intersection of negotiation and Buddhism. I am trained as a transactional attorney with experience in intellectual property and technology, currently employed as Executive Director of the Office of Business Contracts and Brand Protection at the University of California, Berkeley. I have taught classes on negotiation to executives, entrepreneurs, and students. I volunteer my time as a mentor of young lawyers.
