Matt Pavlik

Matt Pavlik is a licensed professional clinical counselor, author, and committed follower of Christ since 1991. He brings decades of experience in Christian counseling and spiritual guidance to his writing, blending thoughtful theology and everyday insight. Matt earned his Master’s in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. He has counseled individuals and couples for more than 20 years at his Christian private practice, New Reflections Counseling.

Matt’s books—Secure in Christ, Confident Identity, To Identity and Beyond, Marriage From Roots to Fruits, and the Journal Your Way series—explore God's sovereignty, the reality of identity, relational restoration, and emotional growth, all anchored in the truth of Scripture. His writing helps readers discover who God created them to be and experience the freedom and permanence found in salvation through Christ.

Matt and Georgette have been married since 1999 and live in Centerville, Ohio. They have four adult children. Matt blogs regularly at Christian Concepts, where his ministry continues to equip believers with clarity, confidence, and spiritual direction.
