Susan J. Heil, a retired teacher, actress, and grandmother, lives in Strasburg, Pennsylvania with her husband John, Dachshund Sophie, and her many dolls. Susan fell in love with children’s literature as a student at Mansfield University, Pennsylvania. Reading to children is a simple pleasure of hers. A native of Lancaster County, she has a passion for the beautiful and historic area with its wealth of stories waiting to be told.
