Frank Finkbohner

Frank Finkbohner is working as a Product Owner for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Data Migration Content at SAP SE (Waldorf/Germany).

He is holding a master degree in computer science (Diplom-Informatiker) from the University of Applied Sciences/Hochschule Fulda/Germany and a master degree in Engineering Management (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) from the University of Applied Sciences/Hochschule Esslingen am Neckar/Germany.

Post-Graduate he was working as a developer and consultant for object oriented analyzes, design and programming at an engineering office in Leinfelden/Germany.

In 1999 Frank Finkbohner joins SAP in Waldorf and started his career as Development Consultant. He supported customers developing new or enhancing existing SAP functions. His main focus was to plan and implement legacy data migration. Within numerous customer projects he used the whole specturm of SAP's data migration tools, methods and programs (i.e. LSMW, Batch-Input, BAPI, IDoc, rapid data migration, MWB and so on). He created the technical concepts, project plans and worked together with the customers on the data migration mappings which he afterwards used to implement the customer specific data migration solution. Working as a project manager in several projects, Frank Finkbohner created his own method of structuring data migration projects (SEAMAP) and used it successfully in many customer projects.

After being a consultant for 13 years he changed his position in 2012 at SAP and is Product Owner for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Data Migration content since 2016.
