Wayne Anderson

Wayne Anderson was born just north of Pittsburgh, PA to middle class parents. After graduating from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, he joined the United States Marine Corps, and married his college sweetheart. Shortly after being assigned to a unit at Camp Lejeune, NC, he and his wife welcomed the birth of their daughter. Being gone a great deal of time, Wayne focused his sporadic time at home completely on his small family. Delighting in his daughter and watching her grow, this unique time provided the creative foundation for his first book, Diary of a Pregnant Grandfather.
