Aimee Taylor began writing novels after leaving a lengthy career in child welfare to be a stay at home mom. Although her newborn twins left her with little time to write, she published her first novel, Don't You Cry, with Martin Sisters Publishing in 2012. She wanted Don't You Cry to be a catalyst for change, showing the public what happens behind the scenes of an abuse case and teaching them to read between the lines of negative media stories pertaining to child welfare agencies. Aimee continues to write true to life stories that capture the emotion of victims and the struggles of foster parents and case managers as they work together to care for the children who so desperately need them.
Aimee is the author of Don't You Cry, Don't You Tell and Computer Shortcuts to Simplify Your Life. She was quoted in Foster Focus magazine, consulted an an autobiography, Connections, and ghostwrites on occasion. Aimee is currently working on the third book in the Don't You Cry series, among other projects.
Don't You Tell is currently a semi-finalist for the Florida Writer's Association, Royal Palm Literary Award in the mainstream/literary division.
Some of her work can be found under the name, Aimee McPartlan.
