Vivian Munson is a practicing lawyer who believes in true stories--patient stories written to inspire other patients and their families, life stories illustrated to open windows into other lands and cultures, and legal briefs that speak to the heart of the matter.
While living in Alaska she worked with Eskimo leader Paul Tiulana and recorded his memories of life on King Island, a mountain in the Bering Sea. Those memories, illustrated with historical photographs, were published as A Place for Winter and Wise Words of Paul Tiulana, books which may be found in university, school and public libraries around the USA and in Europe...and at the Vatican.
Vivian was married to Captain Don Munson, airline pilot, bush pilot, and fine country dancer, for 11 years. Together, they wrote the story of his tangle with prostate cancer. Pilot Beats Prostate Cancer has one goal--"to help the next guy." The book chronicles the diagnosis, surgery, radiation, faith, friends, family, and finally, getting on with life. Amazon labels it inspiring.
