Vicky McGahey is a teacher, entertainer, speaker, and lecturer in Australia. She was was born in Perth, Western Australia. Vicky has lived in Sydney for most of her life. She is a dreamer who is passionate about scuba diving, enjoying the thrill of getting wet and exploring the underwater world.
As an ccomplished singer and a songwriter, vicky's other interests include politics, leadership theory and practice, theology, the Australian bush, scuba diving, self-reflection, writing and the study of the voice. Vicky is a past President of Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow.

Her new series of books has emerged through her doctorate studies and the need to teach the young mind that the ability to lead lies within us all. ‘The Hourglass of Lochleigh’ is book one of the series ‘The Rock and The Rainbow Serpent.’ It is a fantasy founded in reality that is filled with mystery and adventure.
Vicky is the author of non-fiction books. ‘Leadership Attributes for Women and Men: Leading Community in Disruptive Times’ is her first book on leadership. Vicky has a free ebook called ‘Lead with Grace: Leading Community in Disruptive Times.’ It is also available in print.
Vicky has a doctorate degree and several master degrees, including one in Theology. Her doctorate focused on leadership and the attributes required to be a good and moral leader. She is a high school teacher of religion, science and music. Vicky has held several head teacher roles including Director of Human Resources.
