Weldon R. Shaw

Weldon Ray Shaw was born (1962) in Covina California and lived in Shafter Ca, Red Bluff Ca, Corning Ca, Okla. City, Okla, Lindsay Okla and Corbin Ky. He spent 4 years (1979-1982) in the Air Force and worked in law enforcement Calif. Dept. Corrections (1988-2012) for 25 years before retiring. Weldon has a very strong interest in history and the culture of different ethnic groups. His expertise in Law Enforcement was in the area of gangs. He was assigned as a gang investigator and debriefer. Over the years, he was charged with writing autobiographies of high-profile gang members wishing to disassociate themselves from the gang lifestyle.

Since his retirement Weldon has had two novels published and set for release in 2015. “Pachuco” historical fiction and “The Rise And Fall Of Our Youth” self help. He enjoys writing fiction/ romance novels. He belives this gives him the ablility to share his inner self and feelings about life with other people. Currently he is working on a 2 novel series intitled Lone Wolf. When Weldon writes, he places himself in the main charactors roll to bring them alive, thus you will see a hint of how this author thinks and feels.

Weldon’s objective is to write novels that make the reader feel like they are apart of the story, while keeping the story line simple so it has a feel of everyday life. He strives hard to keep his work as real as possible and in inline with human nature.
