Since 1970 Reny has focused her lens on wildflowers. Her images appear in books, on cards and posters, and the web at RenysWildflowers.com. In 2012 Reny won 1st place from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center for her photography. She is active in wilderness conservation and served as president of the Milo Baker Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
In spring and summer Reny travels the backroads indulging her passion to communicate the delicate beauty of wildflowers. In fall and winter she settles into her secluded, off-the-grid home tucked into the North Coast Range with her husband and cat.
