When it comes to writing, I’m a late bloomer. For twenty-five years, I poured my creative energies into conjuring dark surrealistic photographs. Then suddenly, twelve years ago, the urge to write came knocking. Then pounding. I opened the door—foolish me—and ever since, I’ve been writing like a man possessed, with the only end in sight dementia or the shroud.
I’m hooked. Addicted. A junkie.
Now my job is to addict you—the reader.
OK, that’s hyperbole. How about “pique your interest?” It’s a daunting task, considering everything else that’s coming at you. But if you’re drawn to adventure, romance, and a touch of the paranormal, you should give one—or all—of my books a try.
So far, I’m the author of The Light at the End of the Trail—a two-part memoir documenting my wild and wooly existence—and six novels, Ends of the Earth, Kings Canyon, Stick People, Harpies, A Past Life, and Ties that Bind. Other novels lie stacked and waiting.
When I'm not writing, I'm teaching photography at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.
