Heidi Herman

Heidi Herman is a self-published author of thirteen books in four genres, including Non-Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Young Adult, and Children’s. After thirty years as a telecommunications consultant and entrepreneur, Heidi co-founded Hekla Publishing with her mother, a fellow author, to honor their Icelandic heritage, adding Pink Viking Press in 2025 for women’s fiction.

Her work has earned two Gourmand Cookbook awards, a Foreword INDIES Gold, a Silver IPPY, a B.R.A.G. Medallion, and her debut novel was named an American Fiction Award Finalist. Heidi is a member of the Non-Fiction Authors Association, Arizona Authors, Women's Fiction Writers Association, and Wyoming Writers. She continues to write between time spent on motivational speaking, travel, and a variety of hobbies. Born in the United States, Heidi cherishes the Icelandic heritage passed down from her mother. Heidi loves to travel, sharing Icelandic culture and her books.
