Christopher Conroy

Chris Conroy is a poet, author and communications consultant in Boston, Massachusetts. He has written zero books. (That is before his most recent work, which technically is just a collection of verse. So, yes, still zero.) However, he has been lucky enough to have the City of Boston’s Department of Arts & Culture select his poem, "Emergency Box", to be a featured among a collection of poetry displayed at Boston City Hall, which is about as good as literature honors can get in his opinion.

Chris lives in the neighborhood of Roxbury with his partner, Kadesh, and his two consistently awesome stepsons, Adoni, 14, and Joshua, 7, who bring tremendous joy and teach him something new each and every day.

Chris is a graduate of Amherst College with a B.A. in Law, Jurisprudence and Social Thought. He began his career as a youth worker and special education teacher in Boston. He is also the founder and principal of the Collective Consulting Group, a communications firm that helps social good organizations plan and execute campaigns for positive change in their communities.
