United by an enduring enthusiasm for science and adventure, Jane and Ken Cundiff lived and worked together in Gainesville, Florida before jumping into the life of an international teaching couple. Having kept journals and thousands of photographs, they share their experiences and lessons learned in a life of teaching and traveling around the world, mostly in Muslim countries. Cobras, Kids and Pyramids includes over forty true-to-life, heartfelt, action packed stories of the first three of seven different countries where they lived over a span of twenty-one years.
Jane and Ken are now adjunct science professors at Radford University. Living on top of a mountain in Virginia, they grow much of their own food organically and hike through their diverse, old forest with their Standard Poodle, Durga, who keeps an eye out for the friendly bears and coyotes. Jane is involved in community projects in their small town of Floyd, coordinates the Wild Edibles Organic Gardening Club and connects with friends from around the world. When a 42inch gas pipeline threatened to come across the county she was right up front in the newspapers and even in a movie "To The Last Drop" (You can see the movie on YouTube.)
