Kristi lives in Northern Minnesota with her husband and 4 amazing, beautiful, energetic (exhausting) children. When she isn't battling the mosquitoes and sub-zero temperatures, she enjoys fishing, painting, writing and reading everything she can get her hands on.
Her first book, "Heart of Blue" was the result of some down-time following a broken ankle (courtesy of the frigid temperatures and icy streets). It grew into something pretty amazing and is a love story filled with mystery, heartache and the life-altering challenges that affect the hearts and minds of today's police officers.
Kristi enjoys reading and writing modern romance novels that capture the essence of people as they truly are and the very real heroism we're all capable of. Her characters are kind and strong; the villains complex and torn. There is nothing one-dimensional nor black and white, just the struggle of our very real lives and the battles that define us as who we truly are...
