Roland Phillips

Roland Phillips is the author of several works, including; Leadville, Upon This Rock, The Prophets and the Kings, and a bit of satire entitled Williams and the Cowboy; certainly an eclectic collection.

Mister Phillips has earned degrees from two honorable institutions; Pasadena City College, AA degree, and California State University, BS degree. As a young man, Roland enlisted in the Navy, serving four years on active duty and three more years in the Naval Reserve. Honorable Service in the military at a young age is one of those life accomplishments of which Mister Phillips is quite proud. Later, while attending college on the GI Bill, this proud veteran began to write, first, with an electric typewriter and gallons of whiteout; later, with Microsoft Word and Grammarly, two pieces of software that have allowed a struggling typist to morph into a wizard of the keyboard.

Presently retired, Roland Phillips lives and writes in Southern California after a forty-five-year successful career as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.
