Judy Silk is a writer, storyteller, stand up comedian, and retired MBA. She grew up in Anaheim California and worked at Disneyland as a teen. She got her sense of the fantastic as a result of seeing fireworks every summer night from her bedroom window. After finding great success writing on Facebook, she has written non-stop ever since. Her musings on motherhood, divorce, diet (or lack of one) and life can be read on The Huffington Post, LA Times online, Salon and The Palisadian Post. She utters her edgy comedy as a stand up at The Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store and Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. As a storyteller, she has appeared on The Moth, Expressing Motherhood, Tasty Words and behind the kitchen counter. She resides in Oregon with her daughters, dogs and assorted visiting relatives.
