Joan Swart

Joan Swart was born in Vereeniging, South Africa and grew up in Uitenhage. After completing a B.Sc. (Chem. Eng.) and MBA she spent more than 20 years in various functions in corporate organizations before completing an M.S. and Psy.D. Forensic Psychology at U.S. institutions. Choosing to immerse herself into an exciting new field and help others by consulting, research, and writing, she is also lecturing doctoral students at the Eisner Institute for Professional Studies based in Encino, CA. Her areas of specialty are cognitive behavioral therapies and criminal behavior.
