Charmaine Betty-Singleton

Charmaine E. Betty-Singleton (1968) was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Granville and Norma Betty, grew up in Queens, New York and attended Virginia Union University and Washington and Lee Law School. For over twenty years she served in the US Army. Her first book, “Moments in Herstory: From Pain to Purpose” a collaborative effort with Lakita Stewart-Thompson and other authors, is a best-seller. She loves to write poems and inspirational pieces. She lives life to fullest and encourages others to do the same.
