Marianna Shek

Marianna Shek is a storyteller with a PhD in transmedia and an undergraduate degree in animation. She swapped scriptwriting for novels and picture books. She has published a macabre pathfinding adventure for young readers called 'Choose Your Own Death' and an imaginative picture book that teaches concepts of learning titled 'Donald Doing House of Verbs'.

Previously, Marianna lectured in animation and games at Griffith University and was the Digital Writer-in-resident for the Northern Territory Writers Centre.
