P.L. Como

P.L. Como earned her degree in Journalism from New York University, and has been writing passionately and professionally for nearly 20 years. Her seconpat_pic_framedd screenplay, Dear Phoebe, won First Place Comedy in the Movie Deal Screenwriter’s contest. She has ghostwritten books, penned speeches, scripted award-winning videos, and has had her work featured in a wide range of publications. After too many years on the corporate Ferris wheel as a professional copywriter, she took the proverbial leap of faith in 2013— landing at her writing desk in her home office in Fort Lauderdale with a stiff cup of Kona coffee and under the scrutinizing gaze of her rescue dogs.

With an avid interest in Eastern philosophy and yoga, Como also attained a Master’s degree from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) in Palo Alto, California.

Henceforth she shall write about what sets her heart on fire— love, beauty, truth, wisdom and the art of being free.

21 Days in Maui is her first published book.
