Steven C. Shaffer

Dr. Steven Shaffer teaches at Penn State University. He has written several books, a number of articles and academic papers, and a play that had three dozen successful runs throughout North America. He is also the writer and director of the award-winning film Appealing. A life-long martial artist, he ran his own dojo until he retired from teaching martial arts in 2015. Dr. Shaffer is fascinated by mathematics, logic, computer science, philosophy and theology.
