I was blessed to meet my remarkable husband in college while earning degrees in English and Criminal Justice. We have been happily married for over 40 years. Together, we have raised two amazing sons. Our travels and adventures have helped to inspire many of my characters as they navigate life and love.

Writing and watching my characters come to life is like wanting my next breath. It is the 'heart' work which keeps me moving and believing in the power of love, romance, faith, commitment, and happy endings.

I have the distinction of being published in three books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series; those titles include: Chicken Soup for the African Americans Woman's Soul, Chicken Soup for the Beach Lover's Soul, and Chicken Soup for the Working Mom's Soul.

Helen Keller is credited with saying, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” Following my passion involves crafting stories with daring characters as they navigate the greatest adventure of all: falling in love.
