Kerry Rivera

Kerry Rivera is an author, blogger, freelance writer and digital marketer. She is the founder of Breadwinning Mama, a media platform dedicated to sharing the chaos and joys of raising children while also balancing a career.

In the business world, Kerry's titles have ranged from journalist to PR Director to Digital Media Strategist, but in every role her primary goal is to tell her audience a story. She enjoys taking messy facts, figures and strategies and translating them into a tale, presentation or post that will engage and leave you wanting more. Her career journey started in the newsroom trenches and has since transitioned to working for one of the largest global automotive brands.

She additionally writes for corporations, government agencies and brands in her spare time, and especially enjoys blogging and sharing the joys of modern parenthood. Her writing has been featured on many sites, including Modern Mom, Mamalode, She Knows and Scary Mommy.

Kerry holds a BA in Journalism from Cal State Fullerton and a MA in Communications Management from the University of Southern California. She lives in Orange County with her husband and three young children.
